Two MQM activists killed

Karachi

The bullet-riddled bodies of two Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activists were found in the Docks police limits, while a man was killed by robbers and a young man was stabbed by his brother in different parts of the city on Friday.

The bullet-riddled bodies of Farooq, 25, and his friend Zohaib were found near KPT Quarters situated near the ICI Bridge. The corpses were shifted to Civil Hospital for legal formalities.

According to MLO Nisar Shah, both the victims suffered three bullets each to the upper parts of their bodies, and their hands were tied with a rope.

The SHO Docks said that both men were activists of the MQM and resided in Ranchore Lane.

He said that both were kidnapped Thursday night when they had gone out for some work in connection with the Mehndi ceremony of Feroz’s sister and later they were killed.

Man stabbed by brother

A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his younger brother in Mominabad police area on Friday.

Abdul Ghafoor, 26, was stabbed with a knife by his younger brother Zafar after exchanging hot words at their residence situated in Secto4 4/F. Zafar fled from the scene after the incident.

Ghafoor was being taken to the JPMC in a critical condition by his family members, however, he breathed his last on his way to the hospital.

Teenager found dead

The bullet-riddled body of an unidentified youngster of about 18 years was found near Abdullah College situated in Block-A in North Nazimabad.

It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

Quoting eyewitnesses, SHO North Nazimabad said that two armed men, riding a motorcycle, tried to intercept a car, to which the private security guards present in the vehicle opened fire as a result one of the youngster was killed, while his accomplice fled from the scene.

Police recovered a TT pistol, four mobile phones and the stolen motorcycle from the deceased’s possession.

Man killed by robbers

Jameel, 50, was shot dead by two men, riding a motorcycle, near Chakra Goth in Zaman Town police jurisdiction when he resisted the gun from depriving him of his vehicle.
