Abdul Qadir, 42, was fired upon and seriously injured by unidentified people driving a jeep on Mirza Adam Khan Road, while he was going on his motorcycle on Friday.
Some people took him to the Lyari General Hospital in a critical condition. However, he expired during treatment.
Later, his family members reached the hospital and took away his body without legal formalities.
According to the police, Qadir was a member of a Lyari gang and he was apparently killed by his rival gang.

A teenage boy died in a road accident in the Chakiwara police limits on Friday.
Yasser Akhter, 14, son of Javed Akhter, was knocked dead when a hit-and-run KMC truck ran him over while he was going on his bicycle.
