The Neighbors' Rights in the Bible vs. Quran

The Neighbors' rights in the Bible
There are three commandments in the verse Micah 7:5, the first one is about the neighbor rights. The verse says according to the editors of 20 different versions of the Bible (See the Appendix-1):
  • Do not trust a neighbor,
  • Put no trust in a neighbor,
  • Trust not in a neighbor,
  • Don't trust in your neighbor,
  • Don't believe your neighbor,
  • Don't ·believe [trust] your neighbor or
  • Don't trust your neighbors"
Moreover, the other 19 versions ignore the neighbor and changed the Word of God (See Appendix- 2)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Neighbors' rights in the Quran
The Neighbors' Rights in Islam is big issue. In the Quran, the verse 4:36 says:"Be kind to your neighbor". (See appendix- 3)
As a matter of fact, the neighbors have numerous rights such as:
Prohibition of Harming Neighbor:
Muhammad said: "By Allah, he is not a believer! By Allah, he is not a believer! By Allah, he is not a believer.'' (He repeated that for three times). It was asked, "Who is that, O Messenger of Allah?'' He said, "One whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil"
Also, Muhammad said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last day should not harm his neighbor"
Recommendation to treat neighbor well
Muhammad said: "Gabriel (the great Angel) kept recommending me to treat my neighbor well until I thought that he would tell me to make him one of my heirs"
Moreover, Muhammad said: "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him be kind to his neighbor; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him either speak good or remain silent".
What about the bad neighbor
Muhammad counted the bad neighbors as being one of three worst types of people: "There are three worst types of people: a ruler who, if you do well, does not appreciate it, and if do wrong, he does not forgive you for it; a bad neighbor who, if he sees something good, he conceals it, and if he sees something bad he broadcasts it; and a wife who, when you are present she annoys you and if you go away, she betrays you."
What about the righteous neighbor
Muhammad said:" Four things contribute to happiness: a righteous wife, a spacious home, a righteous neighbor and a comfortable means of transport. And four things contribute to misery: A bad neighbor, a bad wife, a cramped home and bad means of transport"
Do not eat too much while your neighbor is hungry
Muhammad said:" He is not a believer who eats his fill whilst his neighbor beside him goes hungry"
Love your neighbor
Muhammad said: "By Allah, no man truly believes until he loves for his neighbor what he loves for himself"
These are few out of the many rights of the neighbors in Islam; for more details search the net for "Neighbors' Rights in Islam", you will have a lot.
Note: When said Muhammad, it means the last Prophet, all peace and blessings be upon him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1) What the 20 versions of the Bible say about The Neighbors' Rights
"Do not trust a neighbor" [in New International Version, New International Version 1984, New International Version – UK, New Life Version, New American Standard Bible and Today's New International Version]
"Put no trust in a neighbor" [in Revised Standard Version, Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition, English Standard Version and English Standard Version Anglicised]

"Don't believe your neighbor" [in Good News Translation and New Century Version]
"Don't ·believe [trust] your neighbor" [in Expanded Bible]
"Don't trust your neighbors" [in GOD'S WORD Translation and New International Reader's Version.]
2) The other versions ignore the neighbor and changed the Word of God, they say:
"Do not trust in a friend" [in 21st Century King James Version, Common English Bible, Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition, New King James Version, New English Translation, etc.]
"Don't trust anyone" [in Contemporary English Version New Living Translation, etc.]

3) The verse 4:36 of the Quran (QARIB: translation)
"Worship Allah and do not associate anything with him. be kind to parents and near kinsmen, to the orphans and to the needy, to your neighbor who is your kindred, and to the neighbor at your far side, and the companion at your side, and to the destitute traveler, and to that which your right hands owns. Allah does not love he who is proud and struts"

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (10) Greater than He

In the Bible, the Lord Jesus says in the verse John 14:28: "You have heard that I said to you: I go away, and I come unto you. If you loved me, you would indeed be glad, because I go to the Father: for (because) the Father is greater than I."

Study of the verse John 14:28 in 40 different Bible's versions in respect to "Greater than I" reveal that:
1) For (because) the Father is: Greater than I (in 20 versions), Greater than I am (in nine versions) and Greater than me (in one version)

2) In addition, seven versions say "for My Father is greater than I"; i.e. the father in the original Manuscript is replaced by "My father"

3) Moreover, two versions add (the underlined) words that are not found in the original Manuscript and are not mentioned in 38 versions; they say:

"For the Father is greater and mightier than I am" (Amplified Bible)
"My Father has greater power than I." (Knox Bible)
Anyway, 39 0ut of 40 versions say that "the Father is greater than Jesus"

4) This means that one version says something else; this something else is certainly not the Word of God. If so, it has to be Forged or faked by the editor of this version.

Let us see what Jesus says in this version (The Message):
"I'm on my way to the Father because the Father is the goal and purpose of my life."
Here, the editors of The Message forged "the Father is the goal and purpose of my life"
Well, 39 Bible's versions confirm that God Father is Greater than Jesus.
This is the great teaching of the Lord Jesus that He wants us to believe in it
This great teaching is "God is greater than Jesus".
Jesus (peace be upon him) confirms this fact in John 14:28; in addition, Jesus told us beautiful words as a background to understand his teaching; He says in John 13:16:
"I am telling you the truth: no slaves are greater than their master, and no messengers are greater than the one who sent them.'

I invite the smart reader to put the words of 14:28 and John 13:16 to figure out what our Lord Jesus mean.
For more details about John 13:16, read:
In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (a)
In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (b)
In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (c)
-------------------------------------------------
On the other hand, the Quran says that nothing is similar to Allah and none is greater than Allah; He is the greatest and He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth and the worlds.
The verses 45:36-37 of the Quran in different translations
The verses 45:36
QARIB:
Praise, belongs to Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the worlds.
SHAKIR:
Therefore to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds
PICKTHAL:
Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds.
YUSUFALI:
Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and cherisher of all the worlds!
The verses 45:37
QARIB:
His is the pride in the heavens and earth. He is the Almighty, the Wise.
SHAKIR:
And to Him belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise
PICKTHAL:
And unto Him (alone) belongeth majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
YUSUFALI:
To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is exalted in power, full of wisdom!

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (9) God Ordered Him

The Lord Jesus (peace be upon him) says in John 12:49:
"For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent Me, He gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak." (21st Century King James Version).
Study of 40 different Bible's versions showed that the Father commanded Jesus, gave him a command or commandment in 33 versions as follows:
Jesus says according to these different versions: "The Father who sent me,
  • Gave me a commandment" in 15 versions
  • Has commanded me" in 13 versions
  • Gave me a command" in four versions
  • Gave me orders and command" in one version (The Message)
  • Has given Me orders" in one version (Amplified Bible)
  • Has told me (or told me)" in six versions
What has God commanded or ordered Jesus to do? Or what was the commandment?
The Lord Jesus replies:

"For I have not spoken of Myself (on my own authority); but the Father who sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak (what to say and what to speak, what I should say and what I should speak or what to say and what to teach)"
This indicates that Jesus is but a messenger, he has not spoken on his own authority; but God who sent him Has commanded and ordered him about what to say and what to speak and what to teach. This precisely is the job of God's messengers.

What Jesus says in John 12:49 is closely similar to what Jesus says in in the verse 5:117 of the Quran. Read and compare.
The verse 5:117 of the Quran in the four available translations:

QARIB:
I spoke to them of nothing except that which you ordered me, that you worship Allah, my Lord and our Lord. I witnessed them whilst living in their midst and ever since you took me to you, you have been the watcher over them. You are the witness of everything.

SHAKIR:
I did not say to them aught save what thou didst enjoin me with: that serve Allah, my Lord and our Lord, and I was a witness of them so long as I was among them, but when thou didst cause me to die, thou wert the watcher over them, and thou art witness of all things.

PICKTHAL:
I spake unto them only that which thou commandedst me, (saying): worship Allah, my Lord and our Lord. I was a witness of them while I dwelt among them, and when thou tookest me thou wast the watcher over them. Thou art witness over all things.

YUSUFALI:
"Never said I to them aught except what thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and our Lord; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when thou didst take me up thou wast the watcher over them, and thou art a witness to all things.

Say Goodbye To Your Loved One By Academy Funeral Services

Life and death are two imperative parts of our lives. When a man born he has to complete his journey of life and has to accept death as an inevitable event of his lifecycle. We know that it is very difficult to live without our near and dear ones but we have to accept this truth of the life. We all have to go through the same journey all alone and have to leave all the earthly or mortal phenomenon of life. And so we must be prepared for the funeral as well once our loved ones has left this earthly life forever. There are different concepts about death in different religion but the feeling of pain and loss are same in everywhere. It cannot differ from religion to religion or country to country.

When we enjoy all the worldly things we may differ from one another in many aspects like thoughts, believes and life style. We have created lots of classification in our society based on the income, standard of living and so on which makes some kind of discrimination among the people but death is such a phenomenon which makes all the man equal. We have to share the equal platform after death. There is no discrimination and no classification among the rich and the poor.

Biologically, death is such a natural occurrence which we all have to experience. We have to go through a process in our lifecycle and it is an end of the life. For the biologists death means a complete termination of all the biological functions which is needed for a living organism. But, if we look at death from the philosophical point of view, we can be able to understand that death is such a process in which the soul leaves the earthly body.

According to the Hindu concept, death is an obvious fact in everyone's life and it means that our soul leaves just our body. Death doesn't mean the end of the soul. It is immortal. It always remains same and absolutely imperishable. Hindus believe in reincarnation of souls and rebirth. That's why, they believe that there is no end of the soul and after death it just leaves the physical body to transform into another one. It is an obvious part of the ostentatious illusion.

We can find some kind of similarities in the religions of Hindu and Christianity in the matter of death. May these religions differ in practice, beliefs and many things but the concepts are somewhat same in these two religions. They believe in purity, goodness of human and after life. Hindus believe in "moksha" or freedom from the earthly body. In the same way Christian community believes in heaven. But, the funeral and the cremation process are completely different in different religions.

In these days, there are many organizations which offer funeral or cremation services. We all want to say good bye or give him or her final farewell in a decent manner. For this reason we can contact some of the reputed funeral services in Sydney, organisations which can make a smooth journey of our dear ones.

Show Your Last Respect To Your Loved One With Prearranged Funerals In Sydney

As every one of us knows that death is an unavoidable part of our lives and there is no way of denying this truth we can plan or prearrange the funeral for our near and dear ones to make their last journey without any hassle. We know that in this 21st century we all are busy in doing our day to day work. We do not get time to think about ourselves. Sometimes, we are so busy in doing our regular work that we forget about our loved ones. But, we all want to see our family happy. That's why we are working hard tirelessly for day in and day out. We all plan for worldly things of our life but there are few people who can think about the life after death.

There are some advantages of the prearranged funerals. They are mentioned below:

1. Many times, it has been seen that we lose our dear ones suddenly. We do not understand what we should do in that situation. We get perplexed and sometimes we cannot follow the right path. When a sudden crisis happens we cannot accept the reality and generally remain confined in our own grief and sorrow. But, we have to think about the funerals or the cremation of him or her. In this grim situation, if we have prearranged the funeral plan for him or her then at least we can free ourselves from that worry and can give the moral support to the people who have lost that person. We can be able to stand by the persons who need us at this moment rather than finding an organization of funeral services. 2. We all know that it is very hard to say good bye to our family members and friends but if we see that they are suffering from an incurable disease and there is no chance of returning then we can make some prearrangement for making their journey hassle free.

Nowadays, there are many organizations we can find who have taken the responsibility of the funerals and the process of cremation. We can find many organizations related to this. They can understand the feelings and the mental state of the people who have just lost their relatives. 3. Budget is another important thing for preplan of the funerals. In the Christian community, we need a decent casket, vehicles and many associated things at the time of the burial. The cost of these things is growing rapidly and sometimes we do face lots of difficulties during cremation. So, if we think or plan for this process earlier then we need not think about the cost at that moment. There are institutions which can understand the pain of the bereaved families and offer the required amenities at a moderate rate.

So, if we consult Academy Funeral services for prearranged funerals in Sydney, they can give some valuable suggestion to us by which we can make the necessary arrangements for the funeral of our loved ones. We can be able to show last respect and the gratitude to them by making a decent arrangement for their funerals.

Anatomy of God in Bible vs. Quran (3) What Protects His Head?

Author: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil

The Bible clearly says that the Lord God has a Head; and Ephraim is the helmet on His Head or the strength of His head.
This article discusses the verse Psalms 60:7 wholly and partially in many different Bible's versions.
In this article, you will see the common Biblical phenomenon; that is how the writers and editors of 34 different versions of the Bible have changed the Word of God either Completely or partially
It is not a big deal to translate the verse Psalms 60:7 of the Bible from its original Hebrew Manuscript to English; the verse says:

"Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet on My Head (the strength of Mine head); Judah is My lawgiver."
------------------------------------------
The entire verse is completely changed!

Most of the Bible's versions say what is mentioned above with some differences.
However, three Bible's versions never ever say that; they say other words that are not related to the original Hebrew Manuscript! They are:
  1. Knox Bible, it says: Year upon year do thou add to the king's reign; while generations come and go, may his life still last.
  2. Complete Jewish Bible, it says: so that those you love could be rescued;
so save with your right hand, and answer us!
  3. Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition, it says: Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years even to generation and generation.
------------------------------------------

Part of the verse is changed

Herein, we will discuss the translations of three Hebrew words, they are:
  • אפרים , pronounced as ef-rah-yim, it means Ephraim, a tribe descended from Joseph
  • מָעוֹז pronounced as ma-owz, it means defense, force, strength, place or means of safety, protection, refuge, stronghold
  • ראשׁ pronounced as roshe, it means head
How do the Bible's versions translate these three words:
1. "Ephraim is the strength of My head (with little differences) in four versions:
  • 21st Century King James Version
  • Darby Translation
  • King James Version
  • Young's Literal Translation
"Ephraim also is the helmet of My head" (with little differences) in four versions:
  • GOD'S WORD Translation
  • Lexham English Bible
  • New American Standard Bible
  • New King James Version
In addition,
3. American Standard Version says: Ephraim also is the defence of my head
4. Amplified Bible says: Ephraim also is My helmet (the defense of My head);
5. New Life Version says: Ephraim is the covering for My head. Although the word covering is Never Ever one of the meanings of "ma-owz"
6. Moreover, New International Reader's Version adds some words that are not the Word of God; it says Ephraim is the strongest tribe. It is like a helmet for my head.
7. But the funny translation is found in The Message, it says: Ephraim's my hard hat, omitting the two words "ma-owz" and head.
8. It not only The Message which omits the Head of the Lord God but there are 15 other versions that omit the Head of God; 13 out of these 15 versions translate the three words to:
9."Ephraim is my helmet" with little differences; and they are:
  • English Standard Version
  • Common English Bible
  • Holman Christian Standard Bible
  • English Standard Version Anglicised
  • Good News Translation
  • Holman Christian Standard Bible
  • New English Translation
  • New International Version
  • New International Version 1984
  • New International Version – UK
  • Today's New International Version
  • New Century Version
  • Easy-to-Read Version Ephraim
The other two versions say:
10. Contemporary English Version Ephraim is my war helmet, whereas there no war in the original Manuscript.
11. New Living Translation Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, while the underlined words are not found in the original Manuscript.
The question to the writers and editors of the last 15 Bible's version is: Why have you omitted the Head of your Lord God?
------------------------------------------
Apart from the corruption of the Word of God that has been done by the writers and editors of the Bible's version, let us see a very important faith wise point.
The verse Psalms 60:7 clearly declares that "Ephraim is "ma-owz" of His Head".
His herein is referred to the Lord God.
This means that Ephraim is:
  • The defense of the Head of God or
  • The force of the Head of God or
  • The strength of the Head of God or
  • The place or means of safety of the Head of God or
  • The protection of the Head of God or
  • The refuge of the Head of God or
  • The stronghold of the Head of God
Does the Lord God need "ma-owz" from Ephraim?
Ephraim has been defeated many times throughout the Jewish History!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, what the Quran says about God has a Head which needs "ma-owz"?
To avoid repetition, read the articles:
Anatomy of God in Bible vs. Quran (1a) what comes out of his Nose?
Anatomy of God in Bible vs. Quran (1b) the breathe of His nose is killer
Anatomy of God in Bible vs. Quran (1c) His Nose and the Sea and Earth foundations
Anatomy of God in Bible vs. Quran (2) His Tongue is a Devouring Fire
What have been said therein is applicable herein.
In short, nothing is similar to Allah, if you think about any shape or any form for your Creator, it is certainly wrong because nothing is like Him.
Consequently, anyone believes that our Creator Has a Head will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the afterlife because it is an unforgivably sin.
Also, anyone believes that our Creator needs "ma-owz" whatsoever is committing an inexcusably insult to the Great Creator.
Allah give us the "ma-owz" and not the vice versa.
In Islam, it is essentially required to believe in that, and to remember that and to remind the others with that.
The verse 87:9 of the Quran says according to Shakir translation says:
"Therefore, do remind, surely reminding does profit"
And, Allah is our Witness!

The Codes to know God in Bible vs. Quran (8)

Author: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil

The Codes to know God in the Bible
In the verses Ezekiel 11:5-12 of the Bible, God blames the house of Israel of committing murder and fill the streets of the city with the slain and He gives many more signs in order that Israel know that He is Lord God, These signs are:

The Lord God says to the house of Israel
  • You continue to commit murder in this city, and
  • You fill its streets with the slain.
Therefore, the Lord God proclaims:
  • The city is the cooking pot, and
  • The ones you have slain in it are the meat.
  • You fear the sword, so I will bring the sword against you.
Then the Lord God says
  • I will lead you out of the city,
  • I will hand you over to foreigners, and
  • § I will execute judgments against you.
  • You will fall by the sword!
  • § At Israel's borders I will judge you, and you will know that I am the Lord. 11
  • The city won't be your cooking pot, and
  • You won't be the meat in it.
  • At Israel's borders, I will judge you.
Then, you will know that I am the Lord,
  • Whose regulations you didn't observe and
  • Whose case laws you didn't follow
  • Instead, you followed the case laws of the nations around you.
Ezekiel 11:5-12 according to the 21st Century King James Version
5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, "Speak! Thus saith the Lord: Thus have ye said, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God.
9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers and will execute judgments among you.
10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel.
12 And ye shall know that I am the Lord; for ye have not walked in My statutes, neither executed My judgments, but have done according to the manner of the heathen who are round about you."

Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and he forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; he admonishes you that you may be mindful

Lo! Allah enjoineth justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbiddeth lewdness and abomination and wickedness. he exhorteth you in order that ye may take heed.
YUSUFALI:
Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and he forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: he instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.
