The Proper Way To Handle Wholesale Almonds

When people buy and sell bulk wholesale nuts, there are some handling rules they need to follow to keep their products fresh. wholesale almonds, walnuts and pistachios all come from different parts of the country, and in some cases, different parts of the world. When you put your product out for display, it is always a good idea to get them to the product bins immediately. The nuts you sell will taste much better if they are sold fresh. It never hurts to have the nuts covered in some way to protect them from the subtle changes in temperature that occur when people walk by a display case and bring a small breeze with them.

Contrary to popular belief, wholesale almonds and other bulk wholesale nuts will not keep forever. They are packaged in salt to help preserve them, but the bulk nuts are normally not packaged in salt. A retailer should have plenty of room to display and sell the bulk walnuts and other products to prevent the nuts from sitting in the colder back rooms for too long. Unlike other products, nuts are best kept in dry areas at room temperature. That helps to keep them fresh and tasty.

Wholesale almonds and other bulk wholesale nuts look great when they are put into holiday sales displays. Families that plan on making Christmas cookies that contain walnuts or almonds will be looking for displays that offer them nuts at reasonable prices. By dressing up your retail nut displays during the holidays, you can let people know where the nuts in your store are located and get people interested in buying and using the nuts for holiday baking. It can be one of the most profitable sales seasons of the year for almonds and other nuts.

For people who want to buy wholesale almonds online and store them for personal use later, it is important to find a place that is free from animals, moisture and direct sunlight. Bulk wholesale nuts do not keep forever, but they can keep for a long time if you store them properly and make sure that pests such as bugs and rodents do not get to them. It always helps to have a storage area for bulk nuts that is away from the rest of your dry goods if you want to protect your bulk nuts and prevent common dry goods pests from getting into them and ruining them.

Planning the Perfect Holiday Dinner and Creating a World-Class Gourmet Gift Basket, No Problem!

The planning that goes into a delicious Thanksgiving feast is difficult enough, but trying to give the perfect gift for that Thanksgiving dinner party could be daunting. To take a little stress off, try creating the perfect gourmet gift basket! They can be an easy solution to an otherwise stressful process.
Instead of spending countless hours searching the internet for gift basket ideas, try creating your own. Yes, I said "creating your own", but don't worry we can offer simple tips to make the process easy and, dare I say, fun! With these simple steps you will soon become the queen of gourmet gift baskets!

Step 1: Pick a Theme
Choosing a theme will help make the process very simple. For the sake of the holidays, I am going to begin with a Thanksgiving theme! After you have chosen your theme, begin with things that remind you of that topic. For a thanksgiving theme, the gourmet gift basket would have beautiful warm colors, delicious gourmet snacks, scented candles, and the all-important wine!

Step 2: Choosing the right goodies
Choosing the right thing to go into the gift basket is where the fun begins! Let's start by choosing a basket. You could do a typical basket or get creative and choose one based off your theme. I am going to assemble my goodies in a cornucopia styled basket to go with the typical decorations of Thanksgiving.
Now that I have chosen my basket, I want to start looking at what to put in it. The goal for my gourmet gift basket is to be festive, elegant and simple. For the stuffing I have chosen recycled tissue paper to cover the bottom of the basket, so that it is still present at the top. For the goodies I decided on pumpkin pie scented candles, a nice picture frame to represent the time spent with loved ones and a bottle of organic wine to accompany my gourmet snacks.

Step 3: Gourmet snacks
In every gourmet gift basket, there should always be some delicious snack! In this gift basket, I have chosen to use John Wm. Macy's CheeseSticks for the perfect gourmet snack. These delicious treats are all natural and come in a variety of flavors. On their website they even have a wine pairing section to make the decision of which wine to choose easy.

Step 4: The final Product
When you have decided on what products are going into the basket you want to arrange the items so they look nice, but not overwhelming! Make sure to pair different items throughout the basket to create a warm feeling. After you have done this, there is just one thing left to do. Sit back and admire your handiwork. You my friend have just become the queen at creating gourmet gift baskets!
