The residents of the city witnessed hooliganism when a young man travelling with his friends pulled a young woman into their car near the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, and drove away towards Benazir Bhutto Road.
The woman kept on shouting for help on the way, eyewitnesses said. They added that the captors pushed the crying woman out of the car near Mareer Hassan Chowk as traffic there was choked and sped away.
The victim was identified as ‘ZB,’ but the Civil Lines
Police, when contacted by this correspondent, said that the matter was not reported to police.
The Civil Lines Police Station SHO said that he was unaware of the incident, adding that no such complaint was lodged with the police station.
