Rawalpindi: A gang of gunmen kidnapped a shopkeeper from his shop at City Saddar Road, the Ganjmandi Police said on Friday.
Gulab Din, the father of the victim, Banaras, lodged a complaint with the Ganjmandi Police Station, saying that he was present in the shop when some unidentified gunmen entered into the outlet. The intruders held his son at gunpoint and dragged him to their car parked in front of the shop.
He said that according to the telephone data of his son, the cell number of Mohammad Shabbir was detected. He added that Shabbir and his aides kidnapped his son because of his son’s alleged illicit relations with the wife of the kidnapper. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
