Slain cop laid to rest in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: The cop, Sareer Khan, who was killed in Saturday night’s terror attack on the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar, was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Pabbi on Sunday.His funeral prayer was offered at his native village Khansher Garhi and attended by a large number of people and police officials. He was transferred to Peshawar from Nowshera district in October. His brother, Sheraz, is also serving the police force. Sareer Khan had tied the knot eight months ago.
