LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Saturday that if the direction was right and there was a spirit of hard work and commitment, all hurdles to the way of progress of Pakistan could be removed and the motherland made a garden. He expressed these views while talking to the media after inaugurating a Gul-e-Dawoodi exhibition at the Jillani Park on Saturday. He said, “We have made Lahore a beautiful city by introducing a modern system of cleanliness and promoting horticulture. The way garbage was removed from the provincial metropolis, politicians can clear the dirt of the political system jointly and hurdles can be removed.” He said the flower exhibition was a welcome step due to which a beautiful environment had been provided to citizens.
