Ubud – Beach Not So Far Away

The one thing that most people don't realize is that Ubud is only a maximum of 25 minutes from a big, powerful and high quality surf spot featuring a world-class beach club reminiscent of the premium hotspots found in Seminyak. That's right, Keramas surf beach is a surprisingly beautiful and peaceful black sand beach just minutes from Gianyar and well-known tourist sites such as the Bali Safari and Marine Park. This quiet and relatively unspoiled area in Bali has gone mostly undeveloped until recently, when dozens of surfers discovered the excellent waves this somewhat unnoticed location has to offer.

Even Sanur, with its fine yellow beaches, is a mere 30 minutes from Ubud. There are a host of beach clubs both private and open to the public that cater to those seeking a bit of fun in the sun. A viable day trip from Ubud, visiting Sanur is quick and convenient with plenty of great things to do, see and eat, Shopping, relaxing, sunbathing and a wide array of sea sports can be found in Sanur. With a little organization, a pleasant visit to Sanur can even be done in half day.

There is no reason to think that if you choose to stay in Ubud you are somehow limiting yourself from going to the beach. On the contrary, good fishing, surfing, snorkeling and boating are all available within a maximum of 35 minutes from the center of Ubud bali villa indonesia. Travelers to Bali need not believe that a stay in an Ubud villa rules out seeing the beach.
