Sadequain’s biggest collection

THE biggest master of mural paintings in the world Sadequain had a rebirth at the Ejaz Art Galleries in the biggest collection of his paintings in any art gallery in Pakistan on Friday evening.

“Sadequain, the Artist who was known as a larger than life icon in the world of art , was loved and respected by millions across the border and was best known for his love for the poor and downtrodden after his unique style of painting”.

These were the views of renowned artists, intellectuals, art-lovers and well-known personalities of the country at the inauguration of Sadequain’s works’ exhibition at the Ejaz Galleries, M.M.Alam Road.

Those who narrated their personal experiences with the Greatest Artist of our times included Saeed Akhtar, Mustansar Hussain Tarar, Former IG Sindh, an art-lover and a close friend of Sadequain , Salman Khaliq, Ather Tahir and Sadequain’s nephew & Head of Sadequain Foundation Dr.Salman Ahmed, Mian Ejaz Hussain, R.M.Naeem, M.Ali Bhatti, Bin Qalundar, while talking to the participants of the inaugural ceremony.

They said his works did not seem like a single human being’s creations due to the enormity of his canvases.
