Qureshi stresses youth’s role in bringing about change

LAHORE

SENIOR Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the youth have a pivotal role in bringing a change in the country and its enthusiasm over this issue is praiseworthy.

Addressing the Youth Organisations of the PTI which made the party’s Youth Festival a success a few days ago, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that old and corrupt political system would end now through the new political change.

He said that in the Youth Convention in Lahore, those volunteers who worked day and night would again perform in the coming elections and reject the traditional politics. He stated that the PTI would not stop here and our new target was to hold the Youth Convention at the KPK, then at South Punjab and Sindh and Balochistan.

He admitted that we might lack with inexperience but credibility of Imran Khan was our strength. The PTI is neither a production of rigging nor will we allow anybody to change electoral results.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leadership has expressed profound grief over the death of Fazal Karim Kundi, former MNA and father of Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi.

In a condolence message, Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Central Leaders Jehangir Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan expressed their condolences on the death of Fazal Kareem Kundi. They prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant the courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
