Rawalpindi: Anti Terrorist Court Judge Chaudhry Habib-ur-Rehman Tuesday adjourned hearing in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case without any proceedings till December 8.
The court adjourned hearing because defence counsels were absent. Main witnesses in the case, including Magistrate Chaudhry Taufiq and Magistrate Masood Janjua, were not cross-examined.
FIA’s prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar told the court that counsels of the accused deliberately remained absent in the hearing, adding that a state counsel should be appointed in the case.
