KARACHI: Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) has postponed Sindh Olympics and Paralympics competitions, which were scheduled to be held in Karachi from February 11 to 13 at PSB’s Karachi centre, SOA secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput announced on Tuesday.
He said that the games had been postponed due to law and order situation in the city and the new dates would be announced after the situation normalised.
He said hundreds of sportsmen and sportswomen were to come to the city from Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana and Sukkur. Besides, disabled persons were also to come for Paralympics and SOA was not able to provide them safety in the city, he conceded.
