Saad, Fatima, Areeba win bowling titles

KARACHI: Muhammad Saad Nayyar, Syeda Fatima Shah and Areeba Sohail won titles in the 7th Pins and Kids Junior Bowling Tournament at Royal Rodale Club here the other day.

Three fantastic late strikes helped Saad record an exciting victory over Ali Ammar Nasser to end the final of U-18 age group with a score of 264. Ammar finished second with 252 and Saad’s brother Muhammad Omar Nayyar secured third position with 178.

Syed Fatima Shah emerged victorious in U-16 competition with a total of 228 while Asdaq Paracha and Mehmood Shafiquddin finished second and third with a score of 224 and 175, respectively.

Areeba Sohail emerged on top in U-12 category by accumulating a total of 118. Ayesha Abbas Saldera got second position with a score of 113 and Muhammad Affan Elahi was third with total of 92.
