LAHORE
The Punjab government has directed all the provincial departments to submit detailed reports regarding implementation of the directives of the chief minister issued during the last four years and eight months.
According to sources, in this regard Implementation and Coordination (I&C) Wing of the S&GAD has issued a circular to all departments, directing them to submit detailed reports about the implementation of the directives of the Punjab CM issued from 2008 to 2012.
The departments have also been directed to explain to the I&C Wing of the S&GAD as to how many directives have been disposed of, how many are still pending and on how many directives no action have been taken. Interestingly, the CM’s Secretariat issued 173,000 directives to different departments during this period, but the provincial government has no data regarding implementation on the CM’s directives.
