PM turns down request for PAC team’s London visit


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has not given permission to a delegation of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to visit London to hold meeting with the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Commons.

According to sources, the PAC had sent a summary through the National Assembly Secretariat to the prime minister seeking permission for the PAC delegation to visit London from January 6 to January 12 but it was turned down. They said it was the fourth time that such a request was turned down.
