‘Sharifs involved in laundering money’

Karachi

Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon on Saturday accused PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shahbaz Sharif of being involved in money laundering.

“The most corrupt politicians of the country are two brothers, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, and both pretend to be innocent,” he said in a statement issued here. Memon said the Sharif family was enjoying the luxuries of life on the ard-earned money of the poor people of Punjab. He also asked the Shahbaz Sharif to stop playing the “fake flute of corruption”.

The apex court’s verdict in the Asghar Khan case had proved that Nawaz Sharif was “the biggest robber of the country”. It was also an established fact that 50 percent of commissions on all development schemes went to the Sharif family, he alleged. The information minister said, “Whatever money both brothers Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have looted will be recovered from them at any cost.” He said the people of Punjab were living a poor life and had been trapped in a vicious circle of poverty due to bad policies of the Sharif brothers.
