MULTAN: Federal Minister for Textiles, Makhdoom Shahabuddin has said that the resolution on Seraiki province would soon be tabled in the National Assembly.
Addressing the members of PPP South Punjab Human Rights Wing on Saturday, he said the PPP always protected the rights of minorities in the country. He said that conspiracies hatched against PPP from the day first as it came into power but President Asif Ali Zardari has faced all the issues with patience.
Makhdoom said that Kala Bagh Dam should be constructed with the national consensus. He said that the dialogues were in process with opposition parties for establishment of care-taker set up. The federal minister pledged to play his role for solving the party workers problems and said that they would not be neglected. Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary PPP South Punjab and MPA, Malik Amir Dogar said the PPP-led government was going to complete its constitutional tenure due to the vision of PPP leadership.
