RAWALPINDI: Consumer Court’s Judge Sohail Nasir has issued notices to the managing director of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGPL) directing him to submit his report on gas loadshedding for domestic consumers on December 6, 2012.
One Khalid Mehmood Qurashi has moved the consumer court stating that despite of its announcement in print and electronic media that domestic consumers would not face gas loadshedding thousands of consumers are facing immense gas loadshedding and facing problems because of it and use gas cylinders, which are so expensive.
He said this is the responsibility of the SNGPL to supply gas to its consumers for 24 hours, as they are paying for this but all the domestic consumers are facing gas loadshedding and using other sources to cook food for them.
Taking notice on the application, the judge has summoned MD SNGPL to appear before the court and submit his report over the issue of gas loadshedding for domestic consumers.
