Allotments of defaulters of G-13,14 to be cancelled

ISLAMABAD: Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has decided to cancel the allotment of plots of the defaulter allottees of sectors G-13 and G-14.

According to sources, the action is being taken against the allottees, who have paid less than 50 per cent money for the plots. Director Estate Management, Qaisar H Shahzad, directed the officials of the department to make a non-discriminative list of the defaulter allottees. He directed the officials to prepare the list on merit and to neither do injustice nor give favour to anyone.

The sources said that the action is aimed at pulling the foundation out of the financial crunch. Some allottees were not paying their dues despite the passage of eight years, while the government employees in waiting list were pressuring the foundation officials to cancel the allotments of the defaulters and allot the plots to deserving persons. Therefore, the housing foundation has warned the defaulters to clear the dues otherwise their allotments would be cancelled and they would be responsible for the cancellation.
