THREE days training workshop of healthcare providers from all provinces and federal capital of the country on Prevention-of-Parent-to-Child-Transmission (PPTCT) of HIV/AIDS concluded at a local hotel here on Thursday.
The moot was organized by Punjab AIDS Control Programme jointly with UNICEF and with collaboration of UNAIDS and WHO. The Managers of Provincial AIDS Control Programmes of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and National AIDS Control Programme have participated in the workshop. Special Secretary Health, Babar Hayat Tarrar, and DG Health Services Punjab Dr Nisar Ahmed Cheema attended the concluding session. The objective of the training was to build the capacity of healthcare providers.
