KARACHI: The rupee remained flat against the dollar on Tuesday in the range-bound trading activity at the interbank market, said dealers.
The rupee closed at 95.97 to the dollar as compared to Monday’s closing of 96.04.
The local unit traded almost flat against the greenback because of balance in the demand and supply in the forex market said dealers.
The interbank forex market started the day in the range of 96.8 and 96.13, while it recorded a high of 96.13 and the low of 95.94, said dealers. In the open market, the rupee was being traded at 96.75 and 97 for buying and selling, respectively.
The rupee closed at 95.97 to the dollar as compared to Monday’s closing of 96.04.
