Rupee firm

KARACHI: The rupee remained steady against the dollar on Friday, said dealers. The rupee closed at 96.06 against the dollar in the interbank forex market as compared to Thursday’s closing of 95.99, said a dealer.

The rupee remained range-bound since last week due to almost equal supply and demand for the dollars, said dealers.

In the open market, the rupee was being traded at 96.75 and 97.5 for buying and selling, respectively.
