SPECIAL Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique has said that by following preventive measures and implementing the principles of the hygiene, we can save ourselves from diseases, thereby minimising the cost of billion of rupees on cure and treatment.
“Under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab government has taken revolutionary steps for the development of health sector including betterment of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff in addition to ensuring the welfare of the patients,” he said this while talking to mediamen and addressing a seminar on the occasion of a walk in connection with the World Diabetic Day at the Lahore General Hospital on Wednesday.
