Prayer leader shot dead in Swat

MINGORA: In yet another incident of targetted killing, the prayer leader of a local mosque was shot dead in Khwazakhela area in Swat district on Friday.Local sources said Maulana Muhammad Hussain was on his way home from the mosque in Fatehpur when unidentified persons opened fire on him. The sources added that he was hit by multiple bullets and died on the spot.The deceased was also working as teacher at a private school in the area. His body was brought to the hospital at Khawazakhela for an autopsy. At least six people have been killed in similar targetted attacks in Swat district in a short span of time.
