Nawaz urges Obama to work for peace

PML-N President Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that President Barack Obama’s impressive victory in the US elections was a manifestation and reaffirmation of the faith of American electorates in his leadership.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, on behalf of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Nawaz Sharif offered wishes to the American people and prayed for their progress and prosperity under the President Obama’s leadership. Nawaz Sharif hoped that Obama would use his second term for achieving the elusive goal of global peace and prosperity for which the United States had to play a lead role.

Nawaz said that they were confident that the President would lead the American nation and work with the global leaders for achieving this cherished goal.
