Place-Mudgee is an attractive town 282 kilometers west of Sydney in Wiradjuri Country, lying at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in the Cudgegong valley. Mudgee is the center of the wine region but the surrounding countryside is a dominated by paddocks and grazing cows with vineyards with a lesser impact.
