Difference Between Unique and Quality content in Articles

Author: btsalfa

In terms of content, we often end up with dilemma uniqueness versus quality. It is difficult to merge the two concepts. When we are developing productive content, it is important to develop quality content. These two concepts are similar yet extremely different.

Unique Content
There are two ways of describing unique content. Each definition is correct but is different depending on the interpretation. For most people, unique content means an article that has not been published anywhere else. The internet is so full of information; the probability of having totally unique content is very rare. The content should be interesting as well.

The other way of defining unique content is "Rare content." This means content based on topics that have rarely been written about. This could be a little tricky, if you talk about a really niche issue, you may not find many readers for it.

You may find unique content that may be lower in quality. This is mainly due to sheer lack of competition. If you are writing about some rare concept or theory, the readership can be much lower.

If you feel that your idea is fresh and the concept is unique, don't lose out on quality while writing. Make sure you do sufficient research before getting down to the actual task of writing.

Your content should not be on a trend or flare that will die down. Make sure that your hard work will withstand the test of time.

Quality Content
Quality content should be able to attract readers. The concept should be inspiring or refreshing. It should have an impact on the minds of the reader. It should cover the content or topic comprehensively. It should also answer the reader's questions.

Difference Between The Quality and Uniqueness
There are some major differences between quality and uniqueness. Quality articles may be written on a topic covered before while unique articles have to be on fresh subjects.

A quality article will always have the ability to stand out among the crowd. A unique article may or may not be of high quality. In case of unique articles, there may or may not be any comparisons available for judging quality.
A unique article, good or bad can draw people to it because of the subject. This is because of lack of information available on the subject. A quality article has to be of very high standard to draw readership.

Final Note
It is important to gauge what kind of content you want, whether you want quality content or something that is unique. Most people prefer quality content because it has lower risk. In case of unique content, the chances of getting readership are lower. Most writers prefer to write on subjects that are in demand rather than on subjects which are unique.
