Classes at Khushal Khan varsity from Jan

KARAK: Vice-Chancellor, Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak, Prof Dr Ibrahim Khattak on Monday said that classes in the newly-established university would start from January 15.

Talking to reporters after visiting the site of the university along with deputy chief planning officer of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Muhammad Zaman and revenue officials, he said that initially the departments of English, journalism, library science, business administration and computer science would be started in accordance with the criteria set by HEC.

He asked the revenue official to prepare the map and new plan on the 1,500 kanal of land to start work on the building for the university. The revenue officials briefed him about the progress made in the acquisition of land so far.
