Finding proper funding for church or church based groups is a difficult thing most often. There are many projects and works going on that needs financial support and the funds received through charities are not enough most of the time. Also, the estimate should be right so that the sponsor does not have any kind of wrong impression about the church or the group.

If you keep in mind few things when you are applying for church grants, there are chances that you will receive the money. The funder must be assured that the money that will be given through grants will be used for the purpose it is assigned for. Only when the sponsor will be assured that you keep up to your promises and obligations, he will be ready to provide financial help to you and your church. Try to maintain transparency by showing the annual report of the money received in the church and the expenses it covered. This will help the sponsor develop confidence in you and your church as well.
