Two more gunned down in Quetta

QUETTA: Two persons were gunned down here in Khan Shaheed Street area in Pashtoonabad in the afternoon on Sunday.

SHO Pashtoonabad police station said the deceased were present in the street as unidentified armed assailants appeared and opened indiscriminate fire at them, which resulted in their death on the spot.

Identity of the victims, who are stated to be residents of the area, as well as the motive behind the incident, could not be ascertained immediately. Assailants managed to escape from the scene. Police have registered the case.
