PPP to regain power on basis of five-year ‘golden period’: PM


SARGODHA: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said that the PPP will come back to power on the basis of its five-year ‘golden period’.
“Elections will be held on time so our opponents should stop all propaganda in this regard,” the prime minister said this during his private visit to Sargodha on Sunday. He came here after the death of his uncle near here. He condoled with the widow of his uncle, his sons Raja Sohail Afzal, Raja Hasnain Afzal, Raja Naeem Afzal, Raja Waseem Afzal and five daughters.

The PM said that an independent election commission had been appointed to make the elections transparent. He said that the government would eradicate terrorism. He also approved provision of Sui gas to Chak 115. The PM remained in the village for 20 minutes and went back to Islamabad by helicopter.
