BARA: The militants belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) kidnapped seven persons, said to be close relatives of Khassadar Force personnel, from Sepah area of
Bara tehsil in Khyber Agency on Sunday, tribal and official sources said.
The sources said that around two dozens of Khassadars, belonging to Sepah Afridi tribe, were still serving in the force defying the order of LI chief Mangal Bagh.Mangal Bagh had recently asked the Khassadar personnel belonging to his native tribe to quit their job. The sources said that the armed persons kidnapped seven relatives of the four Khassadar personnel from different areas of Sepah.
Some of the kidnapped persons were identified as Madakhel, Habib, Zulfiqar and Noormat Khan.The militants also asked one Aziz Rehman, a Khassadar belonging to the same tribe to vacate his house for demolition, after he refused to quit his job.
