A man accused of several robberies was allegedly killed by Shadbagh investigation police on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Mohsin Akram of Bhaggatpura. Shadbagh investigation police took him from jail on remand for interrogation.
However, police claimed that his condition went critical due to some medical complications, upon which, he was rushed to a local clinic where he died.
The deceased’s family alleged that police torture claimed his life. The body has been shifted to morgue.
