TDCP to hold music contest on 18th

LAHORE

TOURISM Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) is holding a musical contest consisting of educational institutions’ musical bands ‘Battle of Band Competition’ at a local club on December 18.

The mega event, eagerly awaited by the music loving youth, is certainly a unique initiative in terms of the number of student bands. It will be held in collaboration with a youth adventure and tourism club.

It is amid at promoting and involving the youth in healthy and progressive activities and provide them with a platform where they can express their skills of music and perform in front of music lover audience which boost their confidence and help them to achieve more goals in music and other fields of life.

TDCP has been taking various initiatives to create awareness in general public about tourism and to bring people from different walks of life, especially the youth, towards tourism activities.

This amateur music bands competition among the teams of educational institutions of Lahore will be held on December 18 from 5:30pm to 10pm.

The following institutions are participating in the event: Government College University, Punjab University, Kinnaird College, Garrison College, National College of Arts and a private university.

Singer Waris Baig will be the chief of the jury and with him, Hamid Ali Khan and instructor, Lahore Music Academy, will also take part in this event.
