ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court Wednesday accepted objections of real estate tycoon
Malik Riaz over the court bench in the Dr Arsalan Iftikhar case, and
said the review petition would be heard on the availability of the
two-member bench.
Zahid Bukhari, counsel of Malik Riaz, had objected to the hearing of the review
petition in Dr Arsalan Iftikhar case by the three-member bench of the apex court.
Zahid Bukhari was of the view that the review petition should be heard by the same bench which heard the original case.
The court accepted the objections and ruled that the review petition would be heard when the two-member bench, which initially
heard the case, would be available.
