A local court has suspended the transfer order of a sub-divisional officer (SDO) of the Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) from Hayatabad.
The court of civil judge Mohammad Wali suspended the transfer order of SDO Pesco Hayatabad, Arbab Farooq, till next hearing on November 26.
Arbab Farooq was made officer on special duty while another officer was posted as SDO Hayatabad on October 4, 2012.
The authorities, according to the official, sent the case to the federal Minister for Water and Power without proper inquiry or seeking explanation from him.
Arbab Farooq challenged the order and filed an appeal in the local court that suspended the orders of his transfer till November 26. A case is already in the court for promotion of the officer to grade-18.
