Five persons were killed and one injured when gunmen opened fire on a car in Spin Sang area on Saturday.
Police sources said the dead included a child. The slain people were said to be coming back after attending a jirga in Khyber Agency. They were returning to their homes in Regi, Peshawar, when ambushed by armed men near Spin Sang in the Mullagori area.
Those killed were identified as Imdad Khan, Wisal, Momin, Iqbal and Zamin Khan, all from Regi village. The bodies and the injured persons were shifted to the hospital.
