RAWALPINDI: In an ambush, a daring killer gunned down a bike rider in front of Gawalmandi sub-police station (police chowki) Sunday morning when the victim was going to buy breakfast, the police said.
The unknown gunman managed to escape from the scene.
The City Police, termed the killing a sequel to enmity, saying that as the bike appeared at the main road, a gunman came in front of him and opened fire and riddled
him with bullets, killing the victim, identified as Abdur Rashid son of Abdul Kareem, on the spot.
