RAWALPINDI: One heroin addict was killed, while another received serious injuries, when they fought and tortured each other badly on a small quantity of heroin. The injured addict was later shifted to hospital in critical condition, police said.
The incident occurred near a graveyard at Committee Chowk on early hours of Sunday. The passersby informed the ‘Rescue-1122’ when they found them lying in critical condition.
The rescuers shifted them to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital where one of them expired.
The police said that both were still unidentified and the police were waiting for restoration of senses of the other addict for further investigation. The police were also investigating the involvement of some one else in the killing, Waris Khan Police said.
