NOWSHERA: The ringleader of a notorious gang of kidnappers was arrested here on Saturday, a police official said.
Talking to reporters, Kamran Khan, in-charge Akbarpura Police Station said the police raided a house in the Chattan Koroona in Akbarpura and arrested the infamous kidnapper Anwarul Haq alias Khattak.
He said Anwarul Haq was the ringleader of the gang that had kidnapped a noted Peshawar property dealer, Shahidullah, resident of Daudzai. He added his four accomplices had already been arrested by the police. He said the kidnapper was wanted to the police in a number of crimes.
