Minister and Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Shah Mahmood
Qureshi has greeted Barrak Husein Obama on again being elected the
President of the United States.
In his message of
felicitation, Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed hope that in the second
term as President, Obama would fulfill his promise to withdraw forces
from Afghanistan because the who world had agreed upon the point that
there was no military solution to this issue.
He said
that the USA should go in a long-term partnership and also concentrate
in the second term to review the drone attacks which had resulted in
expanding expansion and affected the bilateral relations between America
and Pakistan.
He termed the drone attacks counter
productive and illegal which must be ended without further delay.
Congratulating Obama, Shah Mahmood Qureshi hoped that, keeping in view
the strategic position of Pakistan in the region, the US would
re-organize its relations which could be compatible with the interest of
Pakistan as well.
