IMSB students excel in inter-zonal sports

Islamabad: With a view to promote extra-curricular activities, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) organised the Inter-Zonal School Sport Competitions in different schools of the capital.

According to the FDE spokesman, Islamabad Model School for Boys (IMSB), Sector I-14, achieved the overall first position.

The IMSB students got first positions in cricket, hockey, badminton, tilawat, Urdu and English speech competitions, third position in Naat, second in national song and third position in quiz competition. Jamil Riasat of the school got first position in 200-metre race and third in 4x100 race.

IMSB Principal Abdul Aziz appreciated students for showing good performance in sports and teachers for preparing them for different contests.
