Fazal Karim urges political parties to work for peace in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) chief and MNA Sahabzada Fazal Karim has urged all the political parties and stakeholders to sit together for evolving a consensus to ensure permanent peace in Karachi.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said that all the political forces including Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Awami National Party, Pakistan Muslim League and stakeholders should sit for formulating comprehensive strategy so that permanent solution of the Karachi problems could be found out for speedy progress and prosperity of this area.

He stressed the need for dialogue with all concerned parties and stakeholders for ensuring peace and tranquillity in Karachi. He appealed the government should take strict action against those elements responsible for the prevailing law and order situation in Karachi.
