QUETTA: The provincial Election Commission (EC) has decided to take legal action against 51 government employees for betraying the commission during the voter registration process in Balochistan.Official sources in the provincial Election Commission said on Tuesday that the majority of the government employees of them teachers supporting the finalisation of voters list were found of having stamped their own thump signs instead of taking from those listed in the voters list.
Of them, who found guilty, as many as 16 belonged to Loralai district, 13 to Qila Abdullah district and 22 to Kachhi Bolan district of Balochistan, a senior official in the EC Balochistan told. The official sources further said that after the due verification from the National Data Base Regulatory Authority, the services of the legal experts have been hired for lodging FIR and taking legal course against the cheaters.
