PPP MNA joins PML-N

PPP MNA from NA-212 Naushahro Feroze-II Sindh and former Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Zafar Ali Shah, met with Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday and reposed his trust in his leadership.

He requested Nawaz Sharif to visit his constituency at the end of this month where he would make formal announcement of his joining of the PML-N. Nawaz Sharif is learnt to have accepted his offer and likely to attend his public gathering at the end of this month. According to media release from the PML-N, Zafar Ali Shah expressed his willingness to contest upcoming polls from the PML-N platform.

Nawaz Sharif said that transparent and independent elections were vital for the solidarity and stability of Pakistan and they would not tolerate any delay in the election schedule. He claimed the people of Pakistan would strictly hold accountability of those who were conspiring to delay elections.
