One killed in boiler blast

FAISALABAD: A worker was killed while five others sustained serious injuries when a boiler in a board factory exploded in the area of Thikriwala police station. According to Rescue-1122, workers of a Board Factory situation near Sabzi Mandi on Jhang Road were busy in their work when a boiler exploded due to high pressure. As a result, Ehsan, 22, Ameen, 32, Adil, 35, Babar, 30, Zafar Abbas,30 and Imran, 30, received critical injuries. The victims were shifted to the Allied Hospital, Faisalabad, where Imran succumbed to his injuries while the condition of others was stated to be critical.
