Apple to withdraw its patent claim against Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini

According to the latest update, Apple has now agreed to drop the patent breach claimed against Samsung’s new Galaxy S3 Mini. This agreement has done only because of assurance by South Korean electronics giant that it will not promote the Smartphone in the United State.
As per the reports, Apple Inc. revealed the agreement in a filing with the U.S. District Court for Northern California. The company demanded the court last month that the Samsung’s new Smartphone and other products will be added to the ongoing patent dispute between the two rival companies.
If things are to be believed, the Smartphone maker, Samsung stated that the S3 mini will not be sold in the US. On the other hand Apple claimed that the new Smartphone was listed on Amazon’s U.S. storefront and had been trade in multiple U.S. addresses.
Apple said in its filing that the company will agree to withdraw its request to include Galaxy S III Mini from this case and under the liability that Samsung would not be making, using, selling, offering to sell, or importing into the United States.
