PESHAWAR: Cellular phone service has not been suspended in Peshawar on 9th of Muharram as expected by the people of the city due to security concerns, Geo News reported.
Additional Secretary Home KPK, Safeerullah told ‘Geo News’ that on the request of provincial government mobile service was not turned off, adding a letter has also been written to the federal government to continue cellular service on Muharram 10.
It is expected that mobile phones will continue to work on Ashura as well.
