CHARSADDA: A CD shop was destroyed while a house and three other shops were damaged in a blast in the limits of Prang Police Station in Charsadda district on Saturday, local sources said.
The sources said that the militants conducted the blast by placing explosives near a CD shop selling music tapes in Purana Bazaar. A house and three more shops also sustained partial damage in the explosion, the sources said. The blast was heard far and wide.
According to the bomb disposal unit, some one and a half kilograms explosives were used in the sabotage act.
